Known throughout the club now as ‘Beesle’ due to a typo on a teamsheet, Nicole joined us when she came to study at Solent University, making her first appearance in HP colours on our Midlands tour in 2015. A county player for Berkshire, she had previously been part of the Wokingham team that won the Southern Premier League in 2014.

She quickly developed into a key player in the 2nd X1s title winning season, taking 3-10 on her league debut and performing consistently with the ball. In 2016 Nicole broke through to the 1s and played most of the Premier League games, but the depth of bowling options in the side meant her chances with the ball were limited. Nevertheless, useful lower-middle order runs and a safe pair of hands made her a valuable member of the team. Over the next three seasons Beesle moved between the 1s and the 2s, often unselfishly downplaying her role in 2s games to allow younger players the chance to prosper.

Nicole is one of the few HP players that opts out of indoor cricket due to many other winter pursuits, primarily football and horse-racing - and in 2020 she became part owner of a racehorse, ‘Dream Date Diva’.

A popular member of the group, and one of the comedians on away trips and tours, Nicole has established herself as an integral part of the HP family, and as an added bonus all of the players look forward with great anticipation to the Beesley family taking their turn on making teas!
